With Spring (complete with April Showers) well on its way I thought it was about time to share this outfit which is boardering on the wintery, February-appropriate style rather than summer-could-be-coming-soonish style.
A few months ago I was heading off for a weekend of skiing but the flight didn’t leave until 3pm so I thought that I would sneak in a few hours of charity shopping before heading off.
Whenever there’s a spare moment, ey.
I headed to one of my go-to charity shop areas (mentioned in my ‘Charity Shop Areas I Like to Visit’ post), Kentish Town.
With a quick succession of charity shops from a Mind shop to a Cancer Research UK shop, it’s worth the visit if you’re after a few great second hand shops within close proximity. Something I’m constantly seeking out.
At the end of the succession of charity shops is Oxfam. It’s one of those Oxfam’s/Charity Shops that always seems to contain great things so I was eager for a search.
Not long into my Oxfam quest I spotted monochrome stripes…on a warm jumper…with bronze glitter cuffs. Which is y’know, pretty much everything I look for in an item of clothing.
Fast forward two months and it’s become a solid favourite. Snowing outside? Got my cosy monochrome jumper with 76 layers underneath. It’s price per wear is already next to nothing and it’s still bloomin’ cold, rainy and jumper-with-the-bronze cuffs appropriate weather.
A charity shop winner in my second-hand eyes!
