Blogging in winter & working elsewhere Monday to Friday don’t go hand-in-hand. Last Saturday I had arranged to meet and photograph with Kaye from Fordtography but I woke up, looked out the window and it was pouring (POURING) with rain. Not wanting to rearrange, I put on the most waterproof boots I own, headed out the door & searched for a little shelter. After a while of photographing under shelter we braved the blustery outdoors to show off this leopard print Fara charity shop find. Cue a whole lot of shirt swishing in the wind, damp feet and mouthfuls of hair.
Early in January I got to thinking this little web-log. One of the things I wanted to try was to use a photographer rather than drag my poor ol’ boyfriend out at weekends to watch me attempting to pose. Working with Kaye for these photos was really fun and something I hope to do throughout the year.
I also got to thinking about what kind of content I would like to do more of over on this little corner of the inter web. I will definitely continue to write about second-hand shopping. But I also want to write and learn more about sustainable brands as well as push myself to complete more fashion DIY tutorials.
I would love to know your thoughts.
What kind of posts do you enjoy reading?
What would you like to see more of over on this blog?
What draws you to blogs in general? Is it the photography, the writing – or something else?
BIG THANK YOU in advance for if you answer the questions. I wish you all the charity shopping luck in the world!
