L'Occitane En Provence

A new year, a brand new me. That's what Bridge would say. As the Christmas trees are taken down and the Bounty is the only chocolate left on offer in the tin of Celebrations, I always begin to feel as though I need a little rest, to recuperate and to begin, as Bridge would say, my quest to get a brand new me. Or, just a less hungover, reduced sugar version of 2016 me! In my quest to revamp myself a little I got onto the L'Occitane website and filled my basket ready to moisturise, bathe and well, wash my hair on a more regular occasion than I did the festival season just gone. I wanted to start with a lip product because, with this cold weather, my lips are pretty much falling off at the moment. For this reason the Vanilla Lip Balm (1) would be an absolute star this January. Next up, I thought about moisturiser, L'Occitane have a customer favourites page so I headed on over and was drawn to the Shea Butter Face Cream (2), because as well as Shea Butter being my favourite fragrance when it comes to skin care, this product is also for those with normal to combination skin.

Other products I have virtually added to my shopping basket include the Travel Essentials (3) because one of my resolutions for 2017 is to travel a little more. Whether that be for a week, a long weekend or a night away. As well as picking up this Travel Essentials bag, I have also been sitting on the sofa, under 7 blankets with a hot chocolate and too many marshmallows watching Rick Stein's Long Weekend - that constitutes as productive research to ensure I meet my resolutions, right? My last few picks from the L'Occitane En Provence website include a hydrating face mask (4), a repairing shampoo (5) and a candle (6) - because cozy nights in don't have to end just because Christmas is over.

So, with all this I think I'm all ready. 2017, bring it on.

This post has been sponsored by L'Occitane but thoughts on the lovely products and desperate need to rest, recuperate and moisturise all my own.
