In previous years I have had enough outfits made up of predominately second-hand outfits on my old blog to compile some sort of round-up. 2016 was no different. In 2016 I continued to favour charity shops such as Oxfam, Sue Ryder, The Prospect Hospice and the many, many more amazing second-hand haunts there are. As well as picking up new second-hand pieces, I also kept wearing favourites from previous years such as the long paisley pink and black shirt from Oxfam which continues to be the easiest thing to throw on over any outfit to dress it up a little.
My most worn purchase of 2016 was the black culotte jumpsuit from Sue Ryder which turned out to be as great for work as it was (and still is) for comfy days (with a big ol’ slouchy jumper) and nights out (with some super-duper high-shoes). I’ve worn it on this blog a fair few times also – here, here and here to link a few. Other favourites I bought this year are the embroidered pink shorts (originally from ASOS but found in a Cancer Research Shop) and the midi velvet blue dress.
Rather than waffling on about all my favourite second-hand purchases I’ll leave you with the round-up of pictures below and say thank you so much for reading my blog during 2016. Whether you read one, ten or all of my blog posts I really hope you enjoyed them and got a little charity shop inspiration. Since it’s still not possible to virtually send over a glass of prosecco to say ‘ta very much’ (as I’d hope I would be able to do by now), I’ll leave you with a voucher promising to buy you a beverage with a percentage when I bump into you in Scope, Barnardo’s and all those other wonderful shops during 2017.
Cheers to 2017. Here’s to many, many more second-hand purchases!
