With the rise of YouTube views came the rise of haul videos. This is something that doesn't surprise me. I love nothing more than having a little nosey into the virtual bag of shoppers. When looking back, this is something I used to love (a little less virtually) as a teenager. I used to love having a little route around my friends wardrobe, or if they had been shopping I would sit on the edge of the bed and listen intensely as they went through their purchases. If only science had been that fascinating to me in those ol' days..! My love for all things clothes has obviously continued into my twenties and still, when I go round to my friends house, I love to hear what they have been buying/re-wearing. I love their styles which make them all unique and wonderful in different ways.
This is why when my friend suggested a little clothes swap, I jumped at the chance. Armed with a couple bags full of clothes (and a bottle of Prosecco), I hotfooted on round to hers to sit on the edge of her bed, as I did all those years ago. With a glass of Prosecco in hand I was ready to exchange a few of my wearable, but unloved, clothes with her equivalent. Fast forward a couple of hours (we had regular chatting / drink topping up breaks) and I was the happy new owner of this beautiful print ASOS dress, a chiffon kimono, a light-weight floral bomber jacket, a jumpsuit and a number of statement necklaces. Not bad for a couple of hours on a Saturday evening!
