A Sunday well spent brings a week of content. Or something along those lines. Last Sunday after a good bit of brunch, my friends and I took a detour back to the station via Traid in Shepherds Bush. Traid is one of my absolute favourite second hand shops. With 11 around London from East (Dalston) to West (Shepherds Bush), if you’re in the capital there is sure to be one not too many tube stops away.
Traid are working to stop clothes from being thrown away. By supplying a network of charity clothes banks, home collections and charity shops it’s so easy to donate those unwanted items. By hand sorting donations in Landan town and selecting quality stock for their shops, it’s no wonder I would have quite happily purchased most of the Shepherd’s Bush shop. Not to worry though, my rent will be made this month as I managed to limit myself to a few purchases. The funds raised by Traid go towards improving conditions and working practices in the textile industry. If you are London based you can find your nearest Traid shop here.
