It’s the same old story with this outfit. I went into my local Cancer Research shop with an open mind and found possibly one of my favourite charity shop items to date, although I’m fairly certain I say this when I pick up most new thrifted items, which are usually as random but as welcome additions to my wardrobe as each other. From the studded oversized denim shirt I never knew I needed to the sheer blue ruffle shirt to these shorts. In second-hand haunts always expect the unexpected in the best way possibly!
It was last weekend when the sun was still peaking out from behind the cloud that I wore this jumper/short combination. I enjoy this transitional summer to autumn period where it’s still possible to wear shorts but it’s a little cold to wear them without a jumper. In a few weeks from now the tights will be on and my pasty pins won’t see the light of day for another year – or until I go to Greece the following month. I’ll sign off now I’ve spoken about the weather (in true British form) and charity shops (in true Hannah form)!
