Charity shopping can be daunting at the best of times. I find the best way to approach it is with an open mind. This is how I ended up with this oversized denim shirt with stud stars in my bag (after paying for it)! I didn’t need much enabling from my friends to pick up this shirt but they were very supportive of my decision when it came to me purchasing it – they are very supportive like that! Charity shopping with friends is one of my absolute favourite as they could have outfit ideas with specific items that may have been overlooked when shopping alone which makes for even more second-hand purchasing, ahem, I mean charitable giving.
Speaking of all things charity shop, if you happen to be out ‘n’ about in Woking today Woking and Sam Beare Hospice are holding an event called ‘Style Me in Seconds’. Shoppers have to chance to have a fashion consultation and a mini make-up by in house professional stylists, completely free of charge. To find out more about the event head of their Facebook page. Sounds like the most perfect way to spend a rainy Saturday!
