Second Hand Heart

Black Dress, Patterned Dress, T-Shirt, Black Tie Belt: Oxfam, Shoes: Dr Martens (via eBay)

I couldn’t resist titling this post after Ben Haenow and Kelly Clarkson’s song, Second Hand Heart as the entire outfit (minus the earrings) is second-hand. This often happens but it’s not until I compile a blog post that I realise that most the contents of my wardrobe now comes from charity shops/eBay/*insert second-hand haunt here*. Having worn both the black dress and patterned dress (worn open) a hell’uva lot, I could just pack these plus a few plain t-shirt’s for a holiday and I’m pretty sure I would have enough outfit opportunities for a week. The black dress can be worn dressed up and down, sans t-shirt, with t-shirt, with jumper, with super-duper high-shoes, with trainers etc (as previously on this ol’ blog here & here). When I picked the pattered dress I wasn’t sure how much I would be able to incorporate it into my everyday wardrobe but I needn’t have worried, I feel as though I can pretty much throw this on over a lot of my wardrobe, as well as wearing it on it’s own (buttoned up!) as a dress! A few examples of other ways I have worn this can be seen here, here & here! Outfit possibilities with these two second-hand favourites are just endless and their combined price was less than £15. This is the reason I love second-hand shopping!

      Ah thanks so much 🙂

I got the Doc Martens on eBay – they were £40 which was great. I think they are around £90 on the Doc Marten website.

I use a Canon 700d 🙂 Thanks again – so glad you like reading them! x
