It’s two weeks today until my final costume has to be handed in at college **monkey covering eyes emoji** so most outfits of late have consisted of oversized t-shirt dresses and trainers paired with unbrushed hair and tights absolutely covered in random bits of thread. However, a few weeks ago my Boyfriend and I took a trip to Electric Cinema in Portobello so rather than frightening fellow tube passengers I picked all the bits of thread off my tights, slapped on a little foundation, brushed my hair and put on a favourite Oxfam shirt. Electric Cinema is a small but bloomin’ amazing cinema. It’s tucked away behind the stalls which make up the bustling Portobello Market. Inside London’s cosiest cinema the chairs are more like sofas and each sofa has it’s own individual table for gin/prosecco/beer/whateva-the-hell y’ fancy to drink and homemade cakes which can all be purchased at the bar situated at the back of the cinema. Any place where you can purchase a brownie and gin from behind the same counter wins my vote – and the brilliant film was an added bonus!
