Cardigan: Cancer Research UK, Bag: Oxfam, Shirt: Topshop, Jeans: River Island, Shoes: Converse

Having fallen a little in love with this big ol’ cardigan as soon as I spotted it hidden on the rails in my local Cancer Research UK shop, I was pretty smug to find it was only £2. It was one of those ones which divides opinions (I loved it, my boyfriend wasn’t quite as sure). My love for the world’s fluffiest cardigan is evident since I have been chucking it on over all outfits during this freakishly extreme April shower period we’ve been having. Snow, sun, hot, freezing – what the bloomin’ eck am I supposed to wear!

With the weekend coming up I’m definitely ready to be completing a little fashion DIY so if you have any sewing suggestions I would love to hear them? Have you been upcycling any charity shop/second-hand items lately? If you’re struggling for inspiration I have scoured the good internet for a few of my favourite DIY ideas:

Sunday afternoon projects:

WishWishWish: DIY Embroidered Bomber Jacket

a pair & a spare: DIY Strapless Top

Oxfam Fashion Blog: DIY Sleevless Blazer

A weekend project:

What Katie Sews: The 80’s called, again (The perfect jumpsuit)
