It was one of those things. I went into Oxfam and picked out this dress without much consideration as to how I would style it and when I would wear it. I have come to the sartorial conclusion that it is definitely more of a dress for layering due to the gigantic (intentional) slit up the front of the skirt. The layering nature of this dress is perfect for me as I feel as though I am stuck in a bit of a style rut repeatedly favouring the same comfortable, minimal-effort dress. With a push towards a little layering I am hoping to find new outfit opportunities already in my wardrobe rather than splashing out on a whole bunch of new-ness.
However, if you’re on the hunt for a little wardrobe revamp and you’re thinking about second-hand shopping (because, let’s face it, it’s the most exciting kind of shopping) then you’re in luck, Unite Students have collated a few blogger tips on how to pick up a little of that thrifted goodness. If you’ve well and truely caught the charity shopping bug and you are wondering how to bag more bargains than you can shake a stick at, I have also shared my charity shopping tips in past posts (here and here). Happy shopping!
