We’re in that limbo period. It’s those few days of the year where my body is 65% prosecco, 34% chocolate and 1% vegetable - after shoving a few sprouts in, in a desperate attempt to feel a little healthy. It’s also in this limbo period that events and parties continue until the morning of the 1st when it’s time to think about returning back to some sort of sustainable drinking/eating routine to ensure that the first morning a work isn’t fuelled with only sugar and alcohol.
Since I have been excessively eating and drinking for about a week now, and the festivities haven’t quite ended I needed an outfit which looks a little like I’ve made some sort of effort but is comfortable and also roomy – so I can fit a few more mince pies, ahem, I mean apples in. This Nobody’s Child jumpsuit is perfect for such an occasion. As well as wearing it on it’s own for the Christmas/New Year period, I’m also going to be getting a lot of wear from it throughout the year, with a roll neck underneath or layered under a bit ol’ knitted jumper for January to March, then with sandals or wedges for those summer months. But for now, it’s my favourite with sparkly socks and a leather jacket to continue the party!
