A Dress from Barnardo's

Dress: Barnardo's, Roll-Neck Top: H&M (Similar), Shoes: Dr Martens

Now we're well into December I thought it was time to reach for the velvet. I spotted this dress in my local Barnardo's a few weeks ago and instantly fell for it. Any item of clothing with a little gold and velvet screams 'festive' so I will definitely be wearing this one when December 25th comes. Whilst being suitable dressy, the lack of the tight waistband will hopefully allow for the consumption of prosecco, nut roast and all those vegetables - and by vegetables I mean chocolate.

It has been a little quiet on the blog front at the moment - mainly due to the hand in I had at college last week. Studying Costume is my absolute favourite but there is a hell-uva lot of paper work that goes with it so evenings usually spent blogging were spent researching and documenting as well as sewing - but I lave it all. Now it's all handed in I'm hoping to fit in a few new posts before Christmas. Thinking ahead to the New Year I would love to know if there are any specific posts you would like me to do? Do you prefer the outfit posts or the mini fashion DIY ideas? Comments on a postcard please - or in the comments below would be greatly appreciated!
