Usually I avoid the jeans section of shops, I don’t even bother looking because chances are they will be too long/short/wa-hay too much effort but after unintentionally (but happily) scouting these out in my local charity shop I was pretty happy. I love a little old school Levi’s. One of my most ‘thrown on at last minute’ jackets is a Levi’s denim jacket from Oxfam so these jeans were definitely a ‘grab ‘n’ get out before anyone else gets them’ purchase. I have been living in them with a grey t-shirt, trainers and hair in an inexplicably messy bun as the sewing on the second year of my costume course commences. I should be brushing my hair again around next July when the course finishes and the constant sewing ends.
I also wanted to mention that my first post is now up on Fix Up Look Sharp’s wonderful blog. It is a little fash’un DIY post in which I take an unloved charity shop dress, chop and stitch a little and turn it into a shirt and skirt which I have already worn on numerous occasions including on my little ol’ blog (here and here). Have you completed any autumn friendly fashion DIY’s lately?
