I picked up this jacket at a Cancer Research UK charity shop a few months ago and featured it in my ‘One High-Street Item: 4 Charity Shop Looks’ blog post teaming it with black denim shorts and a shirt. It’s the easiest jacket to throw on and head out the door as it goes with all sorts. It is light-weight which is perfect for these end-of-summer days we’ve been having. On my most recent trip to my local Cancer Research shop the rails were rammed with all sorts of loveliness for either £2 or £3. The shop assistant explained that a number of the shops were being made into outlet stores in which everything will be incredibly low prices. I got a French Connection cardigan and dress for £6 – I pretty much skipped all the way home to celebrate.
This week I have been getting ready to go back to college to continue my Costume course so I better get the sewing machine out and get stitching again. I’m looking forward to it, especially since it gives me the perfect excuse to stock up on all things stationary – I don’t think that will ever get boring 🙂
