Once in a while you can drop into a charity shop and find a rail of items for £1. It’s once in a blue moon that your perfect shirt is also on that rail! I picked up this shirt from my local Prospect Hospice a few weeks ago and have already worn it with jeans/skirts/pinafores – so it’s possibly around 5p per wear at this moment in time! Last year I had a favourite faux leather skirt which I wore everywhere but after a while it started falling apart and I struggled to find a replacement so I was super-duper happy when I found this great quality skirt tucked away in my local Oxfam. Making the most of last of the tight-less weather, I teamed the skirt with my favourite boots as a friend and I enjoyed Charity Fashion Live last weekend. As well as attending the Oxfam event in Covent Garden (and picking up a few items), we ventured around Mary’s Living and Giving shop, visited Dawn O’Porter’s BOB pop-up shop, enjoyed the buzz of London Fashion Week and ended the day watching X Factor – a bloomin’ great day, I think!
