I didn’t realise until I began linking the products to this outfit that it is all (bar the boots) from Oxfam. I got this skirt a few weeks ago and, as well as teaming it with a shirt (as I have in the pictures), I have also been chucking it on with a thin t-shirt and my trusty Dr Marten/sock combo. The hair-style to go with this skirt has mostly been unbrushed hair scraped into a top-knot but I decided to let it down and brush it for this occasion 🙂 Although I am looking forward to heading out for a Pimms (when the sun is out it’s rude not to and all that) I have spent the past few weeks sewing. I have 3 weeks (eeeek) until I have to have my 18th century dress (for my costume course) finished and ready to wear (so it won’t fall apart as I walk) so until then my outfits are all about the comfort. However, in 3 weeks and 1 day I will be wearing this skirt with some big ol’ heels, a t-shirt, a big necklace and red lipstick for that much needed glass (read: jug) of Pimms 🙂
Since I’m back studying at college (7 years after leaving the first time!) I have re-mastered the art of procrastination. I have been loving the vintage corner of the Oxfam Online Shop. From a beautiful 1960’s light blue dress perfect for any upcoming summer weddings, to a pink 70’s Marjorie Ward number (Glastonbury, anyone?), to an AMAZING high-neck, handmade chiffon, black dress – I’ll take it all!
Hope you’re enjoying the sun.
Love, Hannah x
