Earlier this year (HERE) I had to try and make this woollen, tartan and all round Autumn skirt summer-y because I just couldn’t wait until the colder weather to wear it. Now that weather has arrived and I’m still very much in love with it. Not only do I love the length, material and all around geeky-ness, I also love that it is super warm and that it doesn’t require two free hands to hold it down as the random gusts of wind catch me by surprise. This trait in a skirt is important after last week when short skirt/hat/hands-full-with-coffee-cup-and-college-work mixed with gale force winds left me feeling slightly embarrassed as I walked down the road whilst making the silent vow to check weather before getting dressed in the future. The grey jumper/leather jacket combo is the perfect pairing for any skirt and is my go-to mix for when I spot a skirt/trousers in a charity shop that I love but just can’t think of what to wear it with.
