The title should be ‘Almost Everything Oxfam’ but it doesn’t quite have the same ring to it. This skirt is possibly one of my most worn items over the past few months. I think it goes with everything from smart shirts to casual ripped up and overworn t-shirts. The shirt is also a favourite of mine from Oxfam. On the topic of second-hand clothing, Style Bubble’s latest post is all about a campaign called Love Your Clothes. After falling in love with all the second-hand outfits created and shown on Style Bubble’s blog I headed over to the Love Your Clothes website to find out more. As an avid up-cycler of clothes I have always enjoyed the process of re-inventing my wardrobe but have sometimes lacked inspiration. Step in Love Your Clothes – they provide practical and creative advice on things such as how to make your clothes last longer and how to make the most of your wardrobe. Advice includes useful tips such as how to remove red/white wine stains and smokey smells from party dresses which is very helpful and relevant as we all put on our glad-rags to see in the New Year. I will be checking this website from now on whenever I lack inspiration or have a fashion DIY issue in the future.
On a completely separate note, earlier this week I went to Kristabel’s (from the blog I Want You To Know) event at Burt’s Bees. I had such a lovely time – it was amazing to meet her as I’ve been a big fan of her blog for a good ol’ while. It was also great to meet other bloggers and sample some of the beautiful products from Burt’s Bees. My favourites included the Bath Crystals (honestly they smell gooood) and the Rhubarb Lip Shimmer which I went on to purchase and am wearing in these pictures. It’s a great and easy colour for the day and feels s’all minty as applied which is just a fresh little bonus 🙂
