Skirt & Sunglasses: Topshop, T-Shirt, Earrings & Rings: Urban Outfitters, Shoes: River Island
Last weekend I attended my cousins wedding. I often find, after receiving an exciting wedding invitation, that I rush out and buy a beautiful dress which doesn’t really have a place amongst my everyday clobber. I would wear it once to the wedding – and never again. This time around I decided to go for something a little more ‘me’. I dug out a favourite skirt and decided I was going to only purchase a new t-shirt – one that I would have every intention of wearing again. I found this green/grey sparkling t-shirt in the vintage section of Urban Outfitters. It fits the bill perfectly – sparkles for a party but t-shirt style for everyday wear. The skirt is no longer in stores but I love love love THESE lace shorts from Topshop and think they would be the perfect substitute for this skirt. Alternatively there is a lovely skirt on ASOS (HERE) not to dissimilar to my one.
I have also dyed my hair (or else, my hairdresser dyed my hair) a blonde/grey colour. I fancied a change and have had many a pictures of ultra cool gals with blonde/grey/purple hair saved on my phone for months to show the hairdresser. I finally took the plunge. I’m going back to have some more grey toner put into it in the coming weeks. As the worlds worst hair maintenance (wo)man I’m interested to see in how well I do at keeping up the maintenance of my new bleached/grey/blonde hair do…I’ll let you know how it goes 😉
Love, Hannah x
