A Cox & Baloney Hen Party

Rimmel: Wake Me Up Foundation, Illamasqua: Light Liquid Foundation, Elf: Mineral Lipstick, Illamasqua: Lip Liner

Faux Fur: ASOS, Headband: Miss Selfridge

This post is a more of a ‘What I’m wearing on my face’ kind of post. The rain has prevented any outdoor outfit posts this week. I just can’t see the ‘drowned rat’ look taking off – as much as I would love it to in the current climate.

Last weekend I headed off to Bristol for a weekend away with some Hens as my friend is soon to be a Mrs. Armed with a bucket-load of jelly shots and (inappropriately shaped) cakes we set off for a converted barn which proved the perfect location for some table top dancing and wheel-barrow races. The weekend also consisted of a (slightly more) civilised trip to Cox and Baloney in Bristol. Cox and Baloney is the most perfect location for a hen party. As well as being a cosy cafe and a clothes shop with plenty of wonderful silk head-scarves they host hen/wedding/birthday parties at which you can get involved and make your own vintage hair fascinator or get your hair and make-up done the old fashioned way. My friends, the cake and the vintage make-up made me a pretty happy gal – what more could I have asked for.

Happy Friday!

Love, Hannah x

Thank you so much – it was £3.50 in the Miss Selfridge sale and was also 'Buy one, get one free' so I got some earrings free :-)! x
