Happy Hannah-Ween

Happy Halloween! I love Halloween - I think I just love the additional sweets that are brought into the house and left by the door due to the lack of trick-or-treaters each year! Sweets by the front door should be a more regular occurrence - it shouldn't just be saved for late October. Anyway, this year, in between all the sweet eating, I am going to a fancy dress party. I haven't got an incredible amount of money at the moment so I can't justify buying a Pumpkin outfit that I will only wear once. However, I think I might just about be able to justify buying Halloween(ish) dresses/accessories that could be worn on more than one occasion...here are a few of my favourites. Have a happy Halloween :)

Flowers on a T-Shirt on a Meerkat

T-Shirt: Oxfam

I love nothing more than a over sized bargain from a Charity Shop. When rummaging through both the Men and Women's sections of the shop last summer I spotted this ol' t-shirt for a couple of pounds. Since then I have worn it a lorra lorra times making it practically free per wear. On Saturday I wore it with skinny jeans as I was going on a Segway for the first time and wasn't sure of the dress code...I wasn't entirely sure what a Segway was to be honest. I soon learnt that a group of people on Segways look like a group of Meerkats - who knew.

Here are a few more of my favourite t-shirts currently on sale online at Oxfam! I especially love the floral t-shirt and think it would be perfect with a big woolly hat.
 1. Black T-Shirt: £8.99 /  2. Floral T-Shirt: 11.99 /  3. Velvet Black T-Shirt: £9.99

Hope you're having a great week and go on, treat yourself to a t-shirt :)

First day back

Skirt & Top: ASOS, Bag: Primark, Hat: H&M, Boots: Schuh

I feel like this outfit is a few weeks late and it should have featured at the beginning of September for a 'first day back at school' kind of post! Unfortunately I am way to cool (old) for school so I missed the after summer excitement! I did, however, go back to college in an attempt to learn Spanish - yes, I remember now why I didn't do a language A-Level. Hope you're enjoying the start of the week - I better be off to pretend to do my Spanish homework and catch up on the weekend television!

Red Leopard

Dress & Boots: Topshop, Jacket: Oasis, Hat & Tights: H&M, Bag: Primark

I have spent the week (unproductively) scouring the internet for winter warmer clothes. This is made more challenging with the lack of money I currently have but who doesn't love a challenge! So far I have sourced a leather skirt from EBay for 99p making it all worth it! In the mean time I will just have to stick to the summer dresses with tights, hat and a leather jacket.

Hope you've had a g-reat week :)

Tartan Bow Tie

Bow Tie: BeauBowTie via Etsy, Hat: H&M , Bag & Jumper: Primark, Shirt: Topshop

The more it rains the more time I spend looking on the Internet for the perfect Autumn/Winter coat - this year I have been dribbling (not quite literally) over the androgynous style coats - the types that belong to Alexa Chung! I've got a lot of love for this 'Light Check Boyfriend Throw on Coat' on the Topshop website which is way out of my coat budget - this is possible a blessing in disguise as I am quite (read: a lot) short and the coat would probably drag along the floor. I'd trip over it and it would be a bit of a disaster! But for people a little less vertically challenged than me it would look uh-mazing with a white shirt and black jeans for the masculine meets feminine look.

After a while of Internet shopping I got looking in my wardrobe to see if any of my clothes are members of the androgynous style family. I dug out my favourite bow tie is definitely a member of this family - naturally I then got back on-the-line to find out which bow tie I want next - I'm am now head over heels in love with this velvet bow tie with studs! Someone take my laptop away NOW! If you want to get your hands on a beaut of a bow tie the link to the Etsy shop is here! Treat yourself - it is Friday after all...!

Tartan

Jacket:Judy's Vintage Fair,  Shorts: Urban Outfitters, Shirt & Boots: Topshop, Hat: H&M, Bag: Primark

On a trip to Cornwall last weekend I felt it was only right to wear the biggest coat possible to protect me from the rain and coldness of a traditional English holiday. This jacket was from Judy's Vintage Fair earlier this year. Check out the website as there are some seriously exciting looking events coming up in all areas including London, Leeds and Edinburgh! I haven't been to Judy's Kilo event (where the price is determine by weight) but I went to one in Paris earlier this year and came away a very happy owner of all garments light!

Anyway after 5 fun-filled days in Cornwall which consisted of bike rides in the rain, walks in the rain and the beach in the rain we happily jumped back into the car to drive home - and found the lights had been left on and the battery was flat. It's got to happen, right!?

Hope you had a wonderful weekend!
