Kimono

Kimono & Dress- Urban Outfitters, Boots - Schuh, Bag - ASOS

Hola - I am back from a week in Barcelona. I went to Primavera festival where the likes of Solange and Jessie Ware were belting out some bloody good tunes. I had a great time but following a week of steadily drinking rum and vodka, I am ready for a huge detox! This was one of my Barcelona evening outfits :) It didn't turn out to be as warm as I expected so this kimono from Urban Outfitters was great for covering up when it got chilly! Hope you've had a wonderful week!

Lots of Love,

Pouty pose

Shirt & Belt - Topshop, Trousers - Oasis, Boots - Schuh, Bag - ASOS, Watch - Urban Outfitters

Every now and then I think I should out a new pose - but I really can't think of anything other than a smile, a pout or just a really weird (quite scary) face so I stuck the pout version on - hope it's not too much! This is what I wore to work last Friday - yup, I wear these boots alllllll the time. Work wear, party wear - you name it!

Hope you're having a bloomin lovely week!

Lots of Love,

The vintage village

Coat - Vintage Market, Leggings - River Island, Shirt - Topshop (from Charity Shop), Boots- Schuh, Bag - ASOS, Bow Tie - BeauBowTies via Etsy, Hat- Unbranded, Sunglasses H&M, Watch - Urban Outfitters, Bracelet - Dorothy Perkins,

I just can't seem to get enough of cheesy, sale jewellery. For 3 teeny teeny tiny pounds I couldn't resist this bracelet from Dorothy Perkins with 'Dream Big' engraved in it. These pics were taken one windy last week - how it is nearly the summer and a woolly hat and a big coat are still a necessity is beyond me.

I am going to Barcelona tomorrow for a music festival next week so things can only get warmer (hopefully)! I am so clueless when it comes to music - she says with Atomic Kitten in her recently played iTunes folder - but I am tres excited for music, friends and a cheeky little beverage, or two.

Have a great weekend.

Lots of Love,

90's grunge

Jacket - Vintage Market, Skirt - American Apparel, Shoes, Hat & T-shirt - H&M, Bag - ASOS

I constantly feel as though I am torn between the high-street and the vintage, one-off shops. I get overwhelmed and excited every time I wonder in to Urban Outfitters and Topshop (which is more often than it should be). But then, once in a while I will find something I love in a vintage shops and I will feel more elated and pleased with myself than I could ever imagine in Topshop. This jacket was from Judy's Vintage Market. Judy (or rather, the market traders) set up shop on the first Saturday of the month at a place not too far from Liverpool Street station. This (rather substantial) coat was a teeny tiny £12.

So I continue to be torn - do I prefer the guaranteed excitement of the high-street shops or the pride of finding a one-off piece from a vintage shop - it's the wonder that keeps the stars apart. I will never know.

Which do you prefer? Hope Monday was good to you.

Rabbit Dress

Dress: Motel, Bag: ASOS, Boots - Schuh, Sunglasses: H&M

Got my legs out last weekend - they went back into their tights this weekend following torrential downpours! This dress was from Motel many many moons ago but it's still a regular feature in my summer (well, the one day of the year the sun comes out) wardrobe. To celebrate the sunshine, I put a sunny flower in my hair - quite likely that it's covered in dog wee but the lack of a coat was a good enough reason to celebrate in such a way. These pictures were taken last weekend on a country walk - and people said my wild-child days were behind me...pahhh!

Hope you're having a fantabulous weekend!

Bicycle shirt and funny glasses

Shirt: Urban Outfitters, Skirt & Eye Necklace: Topshop, Boots: Schuh, Hat: Unbranded, Sunglasses: H&M, Bag: ASOS

I'm not sure my boyfriend is a fan of the glasses in the first picture - so I wear them all the time ;) I got this bicycle shirt from Urban Outfitters a few weeks ago with my Christmas vouchers (how they lasted until April I will never know...) and I am a big fan. It's perfect for work time and play time so it is a necessity! I have also included a picture (the last one) of my new necklace - I am a hugggge fan of Topshop jewellery but my bank isn't so whenever there is a sale I always buy something. This necklace was £2.50 which in my eye (excuse the pun) is a bargain!

I have spent the rainy evenings this week watching the Vogue Festival videos which include talks from Victoria Beckham and Natalie Massenet (creator of Net-a-Porter). These talks have inspired me massively to get working - and then I remember that Peter Andre: My Life is on so I get the Ben and Jerry's and retreat back to the sofa...!

Hope you've had a wonderful week - it's only Friday tomorrow!!

Lots of Love,
Hannah

#Body Gossip: Beyoutiful

T-shirt: Body Gossip

I am a repeat offender of wishing that I was wearing what the other girl is wearing. I spend time lusting after long, shiny hair and the perfect skin but occasionally I have a day where I reason with myself - everyone is completely different, it's okay to just be you so when I saw these t-shirts from the brilliant charity Body Gossip I had to have one straight away. With slogans such as 'What's so great about being perfect anyway?' and 'BEYOUTIFUL' they are a wardrobe necessity  Not only did I get an amazing t-shirt - I also donated money to a wonderful charity. Body Gossip is an award-winning UK social enterprise and positive body image campaign. Any charity supporting and raising awareness around the importance of a positive body image has my vote any day.  To get yourself one of these inspirational t-shirts just click here. Remember: these t-shirts come guilt-free - we are donating to a charity after all!

Hope you have had a wonderful weekend.

Lots of Love,
Hannah
